	Kelachandra Plywood Industries
	The History Kelachandra Plywood Industries (KPI) a family run business has built its reputation on a strong knowledge of the wood industry. Started 25 years ago as a modest veneer unit as Thomson Veneers, Kottayam. Later on a plywood factory, Venus Plywood in Nemmara, Palakkad, was acquired. In 2004 Venus plywoods was rechristened as Kelachandra Plywood Industries and relocated to Chingavanam, Kottayam.
	The Man Behind C.T. Jacob born in 1945 is the visionary and founder of Kelachandra Plywood Industries, is considered a leading figure in the Kelachandra Group. He has initiated and promoted many industries including Kelachandra Metals, Kelachandra Wood Industries, Carmel Wood Products and Kenwood Veneers. A zealous entrepreneur, C.T. Jacob has set in motion a chain of industries with his business savvy and indomitable entrepreneurial spirit.
